
Challenge:
In the last year of using the name DBID– before our company changed our name to Brandwise. We sent out a 5 postcard campaign. We wanted to show our creativity with illustration, design and copy.Obviously, another big push was staying in front of people (brand awareness) and drumming up some new business.
Solution:
We brainstormed some basic clever ideas based around our move, projects we would like to take on and the holidays. We decided to use standard 2 color, 4×6 postcards to keep the expense low. But, by doing this we realized we would need to use bold images to grab people’s attention. At the time, our company colors were Orange and Black so this grabbed attention, but next we add bold custom designed illustrations and graphics.
Results:
This campaign created a lot of brand awareness. Our clients and prospects started talking right away. We also start getting a few responses from the first mailing, and started landing new projects by mid campaign. This was a great example of how we practice what we preach and ended up being a highly successful campaign.
