What’s the quickest way to close deals in a hurry?

When working on sales I find that I am always looking for ways to improve and try to make changes to challenge myself. If you are in sales, you too have probably set goals to try to challenge yourself or maybe even compete with your sales team.

I have set some specific goals to close out 2011 on a high note. I am not going to let the fact that the holidays fall in December slow down my sales goals or sales efforts. I am pushing forward full force. Yes there will be people that tell me “Let’s talk in January”. To me this is a blow off. This means I did a poor job at engaging the prospect, they do not have the money, they do not need my service or they are not a serious business person.

So what do I say when this happens? I give the person one more chance by trying to re-engage. If this doesn’t work, I just say NEXT! At this point I move on to the next person on my list. If you are a quality sales person you should have multiple people on your list or know how to build a list quickly and start new sales conversations.

If you are not ready to let the holidays bring you down and want to pick up some tips to get things moving in the next few weeks before 2012 hits, then now is the time to take action.
