Today I am kicking off our new BRANDWISE blog. Enjoy!
Over the last few years Brandwise has played with blogs to try to get the word out on marketing, branding and graphic design. I have tried several free blogging tools and software platforms. This worked fine temporarily, but now I have finally added a blog to the Brandwise web site. I am hoping this will make it easier for our clients, strategic partners and prospects to learn what Brandwise does, build a stronger relationship together, and maybe educate you a bit on something new or new ideas I’m having. Please check back for all the latest trends in brand development and management.
I hope you find the future BRANDWISE blog posts informative and that they help you get… brand wise.
Please feel free to add your comments and thoughts on these articles. I really want to be in touch with you all on a regular basis.
Now let me share some thoughts on the importance of blogging that may serve you.
Blogging holds significant importance across various domains, including personal, professional, and commercial spheres. Here are some reasons why blogging is considered important:
Expression and Creativity:
Blogging provides a platform for individuals and businesses to express themselves creatively. Whether it’s sharing personal experiences, thoughts, opinions, or creative writing, blogging allows individuals and businesses to showcase their unique voice and perspective to a global audience. In building a brand blogging offers a way for you to leverage your ideas and personality to build a personal brand that can push you and/or your business into thought leadership.
Knowledge Sharing:
Blogs serve as a valuable medium for sharing information, expertise, and knowledge on a wide range of topics. From tutorials and how-to guides to expert insights and analyses, blogs contribute to the dissemination of information and help educate readers. This can help set you apart from your competition, but also attract your ideal prospects, and build more loyalty from your current customers.
Building Authority and Credibility:
Consistently producing high-quality content on a specific subject can establish the blogger as an authority figure in that niche. By demonstrating expertise and providing valuable insights, bloggers can build trust and credibility among their audience, which can be beneficial for personal branding or professional endeavors.
Community Building:
Blogging fosters interaction and engagement with readers, creating a sense of community around shared interests. Through comments, social media interactions, and networking, bloggers can connect with like-minded individuals, cultivate relationships, and build a loyal following over time.
Enhancing Writing and Communication Skills:
Regularly writing blog posts helps improve writing skills, including clarity, coherence, and persuasiveness. It also provides an opportunity to refine communication abilities, such as articulating ideas effectively and engaging readers through compelling storytelling.
I struggled with writing for years because I have dyslexia and probably ADHD and writing, spelling, and grammar have been difficult my whole life. After consistent blogging for 15 years (or the revised editing today) I’ve become a pretty fair writer. My grammar and spelling improved hugely from the time of this original post.
SEO Benefits:
Blogs are instrumental in driving organic traffic to websites through search engine optimization (SEO). By consistently publishing relevant and optimized content, blogs improve search engine visibility, attract inbound links, and enhance website ranking, ultimately increasing overall online visibility and attracting potential customers or clients.
To be honest, this is why I built the BRANDWISE blog to grow my SEO ranking. It can be a game changer!
Monetization Opportunities:
For businesses and individuals alike, blogging can serve as a source of income through various monetization strategies such as affiliate marketing, sponsored content, advertising, product sales, or offering premium content or services.
Most of you reading this may be focused on building a brand that can better sell your own products and/or service but don’t limit yourself. Enter blogging with an open mind and explore different ways to monetize this business asset.
Personal and Professional Development:
Blogging encourages continuous learning and growth. Researching topics for blog posts, staying updated with industry trends, and receiving feedback from readers can contribute to personal and professional development, expanding knowledge and skills in diverse areas.
Documenting Progress and Achievements:
Blogs can serve as a digital journal or portfolio, documenting personal or professional milestones, achievements, and progress over time. This not only provides a sense of accomplishment but also serves as a valuable resource for reflection and future reference.
