For all of you regular members and new members of our Hubspot User Group, I wanted to formally apologize for wasting your time on Wednesday. As we are growing the group and adding new technologies to support this growth we are having a few growing pains. I take full responsibility for this week’s screw up since I sent out the wrong login information at the last minute. We have rescheduled the meeting for Thursday the 11th at 12:00 EST. We hope the new members will bear with us and give us another try to make things right. If you do, I know this next meeting is going to be worth your effort. Rick and I have put together a very interesting presentation that I think any company with find value in.
Next I’d like to discuss our Twitter blunder yesterday. It seems you must review all your facts before you start promoting your company. Who would have thought. Oh well, this was screw up #2 in one week. Wow! Ok, so our analytics said we have reached 1000 Twitter followers. We get a little excited anytime we reach certain milestones and like to promote them from time to time. Yesterday was this very thing. Sadly though, we should have also checked our Twitter account before we published our article since we were shy of 1000 by some 80 or so followers. As of this writing I think is is actually 43 shy of 1000. So please forgive our early excitement, especially those of you who saw the article and went to our twitter account to see that this celebration was a sham. Hopefully, we will hit 1000 in the next week or so. Since we had our early celebration, we will not throw a big party when we do hit 1000.
Anyhow, I appreciate all our clients, fans, followers and group members. I value your time and your loyalty and the last thing I would want to do is waste your time or share false information with any of you. We hope you can find it in your hearts to stick with us and know we will try to be better in the future.

Maybe Twitter is more like hand grenades than horseshoes. Close gets the job done right. Unless those last 50 are superstars behind the cause, it probably will not make much difference. Ha!
