Motivation by traffic loss – why regular blogging is important.

Motivation by website traffic loss

So as you may know, consistent blogging is the key to online marketing success. If you did not know this, we recommend blogging a minimum of 1-2 articles every week. Sound like a lot? Well it is! Especially if you have a crazy busy month like we have had. This is probably the first month we haven’t blogged anything for 3 weeks. In doing so, we have had a slow down of traffic, leads, comments, retweets and mentions in other places online.

This is some motivation to kick it up a notch in the last 10 days of the month. Now since Christmas and New Years fall within this time, it will be interesting to see what will happen. The holidays could be a good thing since people may have some more free time to surf the web or it may cause havoc on our web stats since people may be spending more time with family and friends over the next few days. Maybe this will be a good future discussion in a January article.

One of the things that is so great about using a solid inbound marketing solution is that you have great analytics or web stats, meaning that you know at all times how your site is performing. This allows you to see things dropping off if you stop doing something. Staying ahead of the pack is a powerful motivator to keep things moving right along and get back on this speeding train.

Are you able to see the benefits, both good and bad, of your daily habits? If not maybe you need another solution and should look into a Brandwise online marketing solution that offers this type solution.

  1. Sherry,
This article was pretty quick and easy. I was concerned that since it has been a few weeks, I would be rusty and it would be tough to get back on track. We’ll see how many articles I can pound out over the next 10 days to end the year on a strong note. I’m looking forward to it. I wish you a great new year and ease at getting back into the blogging starting in the new year! Merry Christmas Sherry!
