QR Codes are a new way to scan bar codes and send data. Typically marketing people are using it for useless concepts like sending people to your website. In order to change the QR Code from a fad into something that is truly useful and helps people live a better life we must find more uses like this.
I live in Fort Worth, Texas and although there are many things I love about Texas, there are just as many I dislike. I love going to a city and jumping on a bus, tram, subway and other easy to use forms of public transportation. Texas is a wide sprawling state and people love their SUV’s and driving (or sitting in traffic). I love driving sometimes too, but it would be nice to not deal with traffic and just hop on the tram from time to time. I can see how in Korea this video would allow me to help my wife more with the groceries. I could shop one day then read a book and plan my day all without sitting in traffic. This would give us so much extra time to spend with each other, family and friends that I find this concept to be genius.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this use of QR Codes.

Taking a picture of a qr code is so much easier than writing an extended url on the back of your hand, but there are still some people writing on the back of their hand.
