So last month we promoted how Brandwise was building a more national client base. Over the last 11+ years we have done business on a national scale from time to time. We haven't been able to break through that International glass ceiling until this month. We have recently landed a Canadian client and we are talking to another one from Canada.
How did all this happen?
Well, let me tell you… it has all been web based. Although the web was able to reach a global audience, it wasn't until recently that Brandwise was able to not only reach this audience, but also communicate and interact with them.
Our blog is the tool that has established our success as one of the experts in our field. Each article brings us further and further closer to the top of that list. The next step was building a following of fans and communicating our message on an ongoing basis in a cost effective way. Social media is the tool to reach the masses.
We currently have some 1600 people that have access to each blog article through the social media and other tools. We interact and share knowledge, ask/answer questions and share quizzes with a small group of these people which has really built a solid relationship and customer/brand loyalty.
Again the tools needed to accomplish international clients are tools that communicate easily. Social media and blogging seem to be the most cost effective tools we have found to do this. Obviously, the biggest issue is going to be the language barrier. We will overcome that once our international reach moves into non-english speaking companies. As you can see this is where employees that speak multiple languages would be very valuable.
So if a graphic design firm in Fort Worth, Texas can go international, and start landing Canadian clients, what's next Mexico, Europe? Only time will tell, but we will keep you posted as things continue to grow.
If you would like to become an international business, what are you waiting for? You can certainly go international as long as you can ship your product or service your clients from a distance. If you can do these items, why not start going after a global community!
