It is important to understand what an Integrated Marketing Strategy is before you get started with one. As you review the image above you will see the word "Integrated" is a well structured and organized word that is easy to read and understand. Each letter is integrated with the other to create the better good of all and make the word legible. On the other-hand you can see the word "segregated" is a mix-match of many fonts, colors, sizes, baselines. If you were even able to read the word or if your eye completely ignored this mess as a word, this is a good example of the difference between and integrated marketing approach and a segregated approach. If the message is unorganized, unstructured and unplanned, then it becomes overlooked and unread or uncommunicated.

There's no such thing as bad publicity is another take on this famous statement. I think the last one was used by Oscar Wilde. I am thinking the "Any publicity is good publicity" may have been said by P.T. Bartum.
Was it their $35 logo?
Or was it something else?
Here is the thing, Nike's logo is good, but it certainly got better as thing moved forward and it got cleaned up. So if you had not known that Nike only spent $35 on their logo you are probably wondering what is the modern day equivalence of $35 so you can go buy a logo at this price. Lets say it is $75, heck, let's say it is $275. Honestly in this day and age $275 for a logo design is ridiculously cheap.
Do you struggle with trying to grow your business? I think it is a very common practice to make the mistake I used to make. You know, by sometimes confusing sales with marketing.
On this day in 1999 I started my business. This has been a long crazy journey. I have made a ton of mistakes and learned business by getting my MBA through the school of hard knocks. That being said here I sit on the day I started my company 12 years ago and I look back. Those last 12 years were defining years and I learned all I could every second of the day. Now looking forward I am excited at where I am right now and what the future holds.
