A close internet/social media friend Heidi Thorne of Promo With Purpose has just written a great article I thought I would share with you. As you may know, here at Brandwise we are always looking for more ways to offer green and sustainable marketing. Why not start using sustainable promotional items like Organic apparel for all of your company branded shirts, hats and what-not.
Heidi offers some interesting tips in the blog article "How to start and ecofriendly Casual Friday". In this article you learn a fun way to add green marketing and also an education process to casual Fridays. This sounds very fun.
On-top of this Heidi also provides a great Organic Apparel Buyers Guide which offers some great tips and gives a better understand of what "organic apparel" really is. Then you can purchase some organic or made from corn wearable items on her site here.

Over the years Brandwise has been looking for better ways to help our clients and our own company become more green both in how we run our businesses and how we market them.
Now we have another area where we can help out. That's right, we now are offering web hosting, but not just any web hosting account. The web hosting we are offering is 100% powered by wind generated power. So if your company is looking for a way to be better to the environment and a new item to add to your marketing efforts why not add green web hosting to the list. Better yet if the website is designed and developed by Brandwise you also get to work with a company (not just our servers) that is also 100% wind power energy.

Brandwise loves the how easy it is in Fort Worth to be a recycling superstar. Over the last 7-8 years Brandwise has built a really strong recycling program to become a little more sustainable and make a difference in the world.
Brandwise probably recycles 4 times as much paper, plastic and metal products as we create in typical trash. Beyond offsetting our carbon footprint we really enjoy the feeling we get from making a difference. This is a program that any company can add to their everyday business practices.
Things to think about adding to your recycling program:
- Paper - mail, magazines, copy or printer paper, packaging, etc.
- Plastics - drink bottles, clamshell packaging, etc.
- Glass - bottles, broken glasses, etc.
- Electronics - computers, monitors, cell phones, printers and toner cartridges, hard-drives, routers, telephones, etc.
- Others - depending upon your industry, there are plenty of other things that can be recycled.
Remember before you toss something ask yourself if your local recycling program will recycle that item. It is great once you realize that a big percentage of your old trash is actually going to be reused instead of going into a dump somewhere.
