If sales are down or you just have bigger goals for revenue growth for your company, but just not sure what to do, you may be in luck. SMARKETING may be the new solution. What is Smarketing you may be asking yourself?

Over the last 6 or 7 years my #1 goal was to look for ways to get the best ROI for my clients marketing budget. Think about it, if I can prove we are getting results, this makes the client happy and they continue to market allowing us to help them build a strong brand. Branding does not happen with one sign, direct mailer or website, it is an ongoing, evolving process that builds the company's reputation over time.

Now this sounds selfish and one-sided, it isn't. Of course we do benefit from our client's success, but the true goal is making our customers successful. I hear business owners complain all the time about sales being down and this is both in good times or bad times. If sales are down, what are you going to do about it? Continue to do what you have always done? If your annual sales growth seems to be alluding you year after year, what are you going to do about it?

A lot of times CEOs and business owners know they need to add marketing to the mix. They also all know that those marketing guys usually promise the world and deliver none of the promises.
