Massage Therapist really using Marketing QR Codes to help clients

Posted by Dale Berkebile on Thu, Feb 24, 2011

I have a friend who owns a massage business and has been working on using a lot of the inbound marketing tools we talk about all the time. Jamie has really stepped things up and learned how to do a lot of this herself and I have been quite impressed with her latest marketing and customer service tool, the QR Code.

We have gone back and forth talking about things over the last year or two and yesterday she sent me these samples.

Front Window at her Shop:

YBR window QRcode

Notice this advertises her facebook account and also allows you to schedule your massage through the use of the QR Code.

Back of her Business Card:

Notice this advertises her website and also allows you to schedule your massage through the use of the QR Code.

Wow! This is a cleaver use of QR Codes. Yes this is going to take some time for all people to understand and use her QR Codes, but the great thing is the QR Codes are used to help the customer with online scheduling. This is very useful instead of just send someone to your website. I can type in a web address or do a search to find a website. I can't however easily schedule a massage appointment if I did not know the company's availability.

I say way to go Jamie! Your doing a good job here. I hope it brings you a lot of new business.

If you would like to learn more about Jamie and her business, you can check out her site here Your Bodys Retreat massage. If you live in the DFW area and looking for a new massage therapist then scan the QR Codes in these images and schedule your first appointment.

Great post- these QR codes are so new-- it really will take people (clients and Businesses) time to figure it out.
They are ugly and don't really 'Sell' you on the biz, but do make it handy...

Please send my Kudos to your friend Jaime, she is one smart marketing therapist!

Social QR Code, thanks for sharing this tool. We will need to review this tool to get a better idea of how it works. It will be great having another way to deliver social media sites and also coupons for retail clients.

Irene, thanks for your comments. Although these tools are not the most attractive, they can be quite useful. As they become more popular, they will be a powerful tool for customer service, consumer education, and the ability to build brand loyalty by making offers and engaging prospects. I will pass on your nice words to Jamie, I'm sure she will be happy to hear your thoughts! Thanks for sharing.
