Is BrandExpand the answer to all of marketing's problems?

BrandExpand is a marketing methodology created to help people that are frustrated with marketing that is not working.

I created the BrandExpand process in order to make our own marketing more consistent and profitable. Over the years we have applied this on an ongoing basis to how we deliver marketing. The goal with any marketing is always to get results. Many marketers however make the mistake of just jumping in and not truly defining what the end goal is or what success will look like.

If you don't know where you are going any road will get you there is how the old saying goes. The problem with marketing is when you head down the wrong road, it is very costly. This is where CEO or business owners start to get jaded and hate marketing and marketers in general. Honestly, they have every right to be pissed. Tens of thousands of dollars wasted every year is ridiculous.

 

The goal of the BrandExpand process is to over come some of the issues with blind marketing. Here is the break down:

  1. Do your Research upfront. Define who, what, where, when, and why. Ask yourself why are we doing this? Then ask it again to your answer. Do this several times like a little kid until you truly define why you are doing this in the first place. Do this for each phase and always answer why does the prospect care.

  2. Create a game Plan. Now that you understand who and why, start defining how and what you are going to do. Test things out and remember to stick with it.

  3. Design a Concept. This is where your plan starts to take form and you breath life into your brand/campaign.

  4. Implement and deliver your message to the target audience. Get something in their hands, mouth, eyes and ears. The more senses you hit the better your campaigns will be.

  5. Measure your results at all times. In the past we would roll out a campaign and then wait for results. Today you can be reviewing results everyday through your website and other analytics as well as your CRM dashboard as things go through the sales funnel.

  6. Lastly, Refine and Repeat the process. Ongoing marketing is what build strong brands and awareness. Understanding and improving how, when and why customers are or aren't taking action is huge. The only way to find this out is through a commitment to continually working this type of a system.
